Import to Italy: "lista valorizzata" (valued inventory) in Italian, plus codice fiscale (Italian tax code), proof of Italian residence (residenza), and passport. Used personal household goods owned and used at least 12 months before relocation are imported duty-free under "trasferimento di residenza".

Wine cellars over personal allowance, vehicles, art over a value threshold and antiques over 50 years old (cultural property — needs a Soprintendenza export licence from origin if moving back from the UK in the other direction) have separate rules.
